Tragedy hit home, and hard last night. At around 10pm, Annie was hit and killed by a car in front of our house. There was nothing we could do for her. She was gone within a few minutes of the accident. Basil was with her when it happened, and is burying her as I type this in the backyard, in a nice spot near the disc golf putting green.
She was a wonderful companion, and we loved her so much. Goodbye, Xanadu. We’ll miss you. You were our very best friend.
