I made it to Honolulu this afternoon after a really turbulant flight. My stomach is still doing back flips. It was harder leaving Beckett this time. The more he grows up, and talks to me in his sweet Beckett voice, and laughs his big belly laughs the harder it is to be away from him, even for a couple of days.

When I said goodnight to him last night, he was asking me all about the Easter Bunny. “The Easter Bunny coming? He bringing toys and candy?”, he asked with a giggling lilt in his voice. “Yep. He’s brining Beckett toys and candy! Because it’s a wonderful and blessed day tomorrow, Beckett.” He told me he loved me before I left the room. And for the first time since he was a tiny little baby, I broke down and cried because he’s just so amazing, and we’re incredibly lucky to have him with us every day.

So, Basil, take Beckett into Mommy’s office, since I had to create this on a Windows machine. Here is a little good morning message from Mommy for that favorite boy of mine.

P.S. Baz, I love you sweetie. This place is not the same without you.
