Wow, where do I start? I guess I’ll start by filling you guys in on why I haven’t been spending much time writing at DarnLucky… that’s as good a place as any, I suppose.

Let’s see. Well, as you all might have guessed, I’ve been doing a lot of scrapbooking. I adore it. It combines all of the creative mediums that I love. I get to design, write, and take pictures. It wraps up all of my talents into one neat 12 x 12 format. And I think I’m getting pretty good at it.

I started a new blog that chronicles most of my scrapbooking ventures over at Vox. http://www.scrapbook.vox.com

I recently opened an Etsy Shop, where I’m selling my wares. I’m currently selling recipe/photo boxes and original custom scrapbooks. So, you know, buy something! http://www.scrapbooklab.etsy.com

And finally, I have started a software company that is in the process of developing an Online Scrapbook Layout application called ScrapbookLab. We are actually dangerously close to being in public beta, so I’m sur you’re going to be hearing much more about this in the upcoming months.

ScrapbookLab has taken up an incredible amount of my time, needless to say. Developing a software application from concept to execution has been a true eye opening experience, and a wonderful journey. It’s a little like directing a play. You sit down, write out a vision, and then direct people in making it unfold in front of you. It’s magical. And buggy. Very very buggy.

I haven’t been writing here lately. And it’s not really because anything drastic has happened, or that my life has really changed. I’ve just felt a lot less like writing. I guess I’ve been using my creative energy in other channels.

But I miss coming here and going through the past entries, and uploading photos of our everyday lives. So, I think I’m going to mark 15 minutes on my calander every morning when I get to work to jump over and write a little entry. I’ve missed you, DarnLucky.com!
