I have had most of my Christmas shopping done since the day after Thanksgiving. This is supposed to be a good thing. But this is what I have discovered. The problem with shopping early is that when the Christmas Spirit™ hits in the two weeks before Christmas, you may find yourself back in Toys R Us picking up just a few more things when you really should be home doing something productive like cleaning out the linen closet.
