I have recently discovered the joys of text messaging. Not that I ever leave the house, mind you. Not that I am ever more than 10 feet away from a computer, mind you. But some of the people I know and love are not hermits, and text messaging them allows me to live vicariously through their lives that don’t include working from home, or not setting foot outside of the house for days on end.
It’s like a lifeline. Even Basil knows how to do it. I guess I’m a little late to the game. If I don’t have your cell number, you’re missing out on my text messaging love. Pity, that.
