I’m making holiday crafty rice socks to take to friends in Dallas this weekend. They’re not only cute, and can be heated up to use as a stress reliever, but I’ve been adding different aromatherapy to each one.

Looking at these two pictures together, it makes me furious that none of the doctors that I was going to at the time could see that I was clearly sick. After 6 months of being pretty well gluten and sugar free, I have lost 30 pounds, have zero acid reflux, and the dermatitis herpetiformis (uh, itchy rash) that I’ve had for 15+ years is completely gone.
I still experience some joint pain and inflammation if I eat something with gluten in it, like a commercial salad dressing. But WOW! I can’t believe I used to feel like that every single day. Progress, progress, progress.
I am able to supplement my salad greens from the garden every day, and have been experimenting with some delicious collard wraps. Love my square foot garden!
